In October 2000,
in the midst of our civil wedding ceremony,
in a beautiful old Jacobean hall,
filled with the warmth of 90 friends and family
and the glow of 36 candles,
I had an epiphany!
In 2003, I trained to be a life coach with the Coaching Academy,
which has given me the professional skills to work with people,
particularly on a one to one basis as they seek to transform
aspects of (sometimes all of) their lives.
When I was little I was shy and insecure with low self-esteem.
Then I took dancing lessons and I began to come out of myself-I
learned to let go a little and express myself. One day, when
I was 12, it just clicked; I could feel myself really dancing
and I realised that I was good! It took SEVEN years to get
there but I vividly remember that day and how it made me feel.
